Excerpt from Home Place and the Crass Menagerie:

Schmode Toad’s Ethical Code

Whatever action is right and true

is not the thing Schmode Toad will do.

Toad measures the rightness of any deed

by whether the action appeases his greed.

If the action crosses an ethical line

but benefits Toad, he’ll say it’s just fine.

Toad’s the first to condemn for illegal action

he’ll scream to the world any other’s infraction.

If you point out that Toad is a hypocrite

his mean-minded vengeance will never quit.

Excerpt from Home Country and the Crass Menagerie

“Michael M. Toad made himself necessary to as many Specials as possible.  He was such a revolting little creature he knew that on his own he could never gain and maintain Special status.  He came up with a way to wield power and control the very public he detested for not recognizing his value in spite of his looks.”

Michael M. Toad’s diabolical recipe for success:

Take 1 hot button public concern, add 1 grain of truth, several measures of spin, call the mixture a ‘Documentary’ and  like magic--fiction becomes fact.
