NEW RELEASE:

HOME COUNTRY AND THE CRASS MENAGERIE
is about Presidential politics in the United States of America. This book is a primer for children and adults alike on the types of people who are involved in our political process; on how that political process works; and on what our Founding Fathers believed when they fought for and created this country from the chaos of the Revolutionary War through the establishment of our Constitutionally-based form of government.  This story is told as a satire through historical and contemporary animal personalities.

It's an Election Year!  Twin bear cubs are learning about the Presidential political process in school...or are they?  Just what are they being taught?  With help of the wise owl who lives in the giant oak tree, the bear cubs discover the foundations of our government from the pens of the Founding Fathers.  Old owl wisely teaches the types of people encountered in the political arena and all about the influences a person is subjected to as they navigate the murky waters of politics.  Of course, a few rascally characters are listening in on the other side of the tree with plans of their own...

If you have ever scratched your head in wonder at the idiocy of politics, then Home Country and the Crass Menagerie will give you just the chuckle, and information, you need to help you cope!

This book contains every word of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and all Amendments thereof.  Enjoy a few refreshing moments as you reacquaint yourself with the most powerful founding documents of the most influential Republic on the planet!

  Ode to Swillery

Swillery was on a full fledged mission.
To gain the votes she needed
      for Home Country's top position.

Each morning upon waking,
      she read the latest poll,
To see what for today
      would be her starring role.

The news and talk shows that she heard
      would surely help her see,
What the voters really wanted
     their new president to be.

They said she had no humor
      and rarely ever smiled.
Soon her jokes and cackling laughter
      began to go hog wild.

So the folks would hear her message,
      her committee assigned the task
To someone from each audience
      the questions they should asked.
When the shills went very public
with  what they were asked to do,
Swillery cried loudly:
     “that just isn't true.”
Who would I call on anyway
      with so many people there.
Do you think perhaps it was
her staff pointing to their chair.

She thinks that our prosperity
      should all  be equally shared.
This Karl Marx philosophy
      makes me a little scared.
